About The Artwork
"Flowerr Boy" is a charcoal and graphite pencil drawing by a Nigerian artist, Fawwaz. The work was inspired by how humans relates with nature, using illustrated butterflies to represent life and nature The drawing has a dreamlike quality, as if the boy is lost in a world of his own imagination. The work invites the viewer to contemplate the beauty of nature, and the possibility of finding peace and tranquility within it, looking at the calmness on the eye This sense of harmony is also echoed in the composition of the drawing, with the flowers arranged in a pleasing pattern. I hope and believe that viewers will feel a sense of peace and calm when looking at "Flower Boy."
