About The Artwork
This is a gesture drawing done in chalk pastel on paper. I drew this in a figure drawing class at an artist's studio. The model held the pose for ten minutes here, hence the fast gestural line work done in soothing colors. The model was looking directly at me and I tried to capture her gentle expression in this piece.
