This work is a finalist of the Art Renewal Center 14th annual competition. It is a portrait of a man with kindness in his eyes, which is for me the purest form of beauty. The drawing was made with a black and white chalk on blue toned pastel paper. A traditional favorite medium of many old masters of the past centuries, and today also. It is available for prints.
