I highly enjoyed doing this piece by hand. It started out with me exploring a new compass I had bought and ended up showing some interesting checker patterns. I did many different draw ups because I had a lot of different ideas for this design, but in the end, I chose this as my finished piece. I had someone tell me it looked like a koala. So I decided to name this piece after the association the thumbnail brings. I hope you enjoy it. It is done on paper with markers and ink. There are three small holes where the compass was used but they are covered up mostly by a white pen I used.

Hello! My name is Justin and I love creating geometric art. I started playing around with this art style many years ago. Unfortunately, life got in the way and I stopped playing with geometric art and shapes for many years. Because of the pandemic I have had more time on my hands and I decided to dive back into making these handmade pieces. I am excited to be able to share my art with you and hopefully make, at least a little, the world a more beautiful place.
