About The Artwork

Because of a river festival the replica of a medieval "Kogge" ship visits the former Hanseatic city of Zutphen. A unique opportunity to draw it from the other side of the river IJssel. It was at least 500 years ago such a ship was to bee seen in Zutphen. Washed pen drawing 24x 30 cm, created "PleinAir" on the spot

I'm an artist living and working in the Netherlands. Studied at the art school "Artez" in Arnhem. I used tot do a lot of drawing and illustration for Dutch publishers. For Wegener Newspapers I wrote and drew a weekly contribution about "what to see in the surroundings" I wrote and illustrated several walking guides. Nowadays I use to go out in the field with my painting box to do some painting or drawing on location
