About The Artwork
Before I started drawing this work, I was already determined to do something that was quite simple, black and white and square in shape. So my starting point was to work with a conical, asymmetric gradient, which gained a curved and blurred shape through digital effects. The result pleased me very much, because achieving beauty with a simple form is something very special. So for those looking for a modern, black and white and minimalist work, here's a good option.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
