About The Artwork
"Pods Floating Over Rio Culebrinas" is inspired by the bright colors of Caribbean flora. Rio Culebrinas is on the western most part of the island of Puerto Rico.The pods are the large seeds from the flamboyan tree, which flowers beautiful and bright orange in the springtime. I hope the viewer will feel a sense of wonder and joy while observing this work on paper. I always choose a closeup intimate view of nature as a way to connect with the audience. The Arts and Crafts Movement has a strong influence in all my works.
