About The Artwork
The illustration is based on the popular music culture from the 70s and 80s. I represented songs and albums which talk about dogs or are named after them. For example, album Rain Dogs by Tom Waits, songs Black dog (Led Zeppelin), Dogs of war (Pink Floyd), Dirty dog (ZZ Top), Diamond Dogs (David Bowie) etc. The technique is ink on paper/watercolor and dimensions are 650 x 150 cm. The artwork was created in the first half of 2018., and it was named after "Rock and roll animal", an album by Lou Reed
