About The Artwork
As part of my skull series, I needed ideas of what animal to use and one of my art teachers, Mrs. Dissinger, suggested a sloth. So, I found a good picture for reference and learned a few things too, like that sloths have sharp teeth. I also chose a different color scheme than I normally use, as browns are pretty much off my color wheel. But, I really love how it came out and is one of my favorites. This was done on mixed media paper cut down to about 8.1x 10.5 inches and made with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers and Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens
