About The Artwork

I wanted to capture Spodek from an alternative angle and continue to appreciate its unique architectural style. As a result, no one noticed me or passed by while I was sitting under a tree drawing.

Śląska tea o'clock, 13.09.2020 TVP info, Poland National TV appearance It is a story about a young artist from England, who, looking for himself and inspiration in his constant travels, finally found himself in Silesia. And this mining, coal Silesia, enchanted him so much that instead of becoming another, short stop on the journey, it became his second home. It is the story of an Englishman sketching the Silesian mines with coal, a story about finding himself in the difficult Silesian world. But also a story about what we, Poles, can learn from foreigners. Report by Ilona Ptak.
