About The Artwork

In this art, my main task was to convey a message about the importance of keeping love in your heart towards people, regardless of external circumstances, because life is the most valuable thing. In a spiritual sense, the sakura reminds viewers that life is short and beautiful, just like the cherry blossom that falls off the tree in a few days. This is due to Japan's Buddhist roots. It is the most common symbol of death in Japan. However, the beautiful pink and white flowers also have a dark side. During World War II, the cherry blossom was used as a nationalist symbol in propaganda, but since then the flower has regained its reputation. The steel sky is a symbol of indestructibility. The destroyed building is a symbol of the war in Ukraine and a symbol of the negative events that can happen to a person in life.

Hello, dear visitors to my account! I am an artist and I create contemporary art. I was born and raised in Ukraine in the Kyiv region. As soon as the coronavirus pandemic began, I began to realize that I could no longer paint on commission and began to create art. Also, my husband and I started traveling around Ukraine, living for 3-4 months in each city. We love our country very much. Even despite the war, we still stayed in Ukraine and continued to travel in a camper and only through safe cities. We have now moved to live in Neubrandenburg, Germany, because we could not stand the stress of the war in Ukraine at all. Artist statement In my works I mainly work in graphics, but some series I can perform in other techniques that maximally reveal the theme. The main theme of my creative research is the search for answers to such questions as "Who am I?", "Why do I exist?", "What is my main purpose?", "Who are my ancestors?", "Where am I going?". After all, in my opinion, a person is a creature whose views on the world and the processes taking place are formed under the influence of external sources, especially the media and education. And if a person can clearly give answers to these questions, it will be difficult to manipulate him. After all, these are the first steps towards taking responsibility for their lives and the first steps in creating a conscious society. My goal in my work is to show alternative views on reality that I discovered in the process of research and to encourage people to think about the correctness of their judgments and habitual ideas about the world. So, finding answers to these questions for myself personally in the process of deep introspection and observation of society, I broadcast my understanding of the world through my works.
