About The Artwork
This was a house in South Cocoa Beach, I shared for a very brief 6 months with my friend & fellow artist, Bobby Durr. The neighborhood, nicknamed "Surfer's Ghetto", was an eclectic collection of one-story duplexes one block from the beach. They were, more often than not, rented by avid surfers, who took the ride seriously. Just another small corner a perfectly good way of life, inevitably overwhelmed by the illusion of progress. . .
