About The Artwork

"I am the one who knocks!" This is a realistic pencil drawing of Walter White from Breaking Bad. This drawing was created using graphite on thick bristol board paper. Inspired by the show, I was eager getting to render the detail within Walter's wrinkles and the expression on his face.

Presently residing within the mountains of southern West Virginia, I enjoy creating drawings and paintings which other people can cherish for many years to come. The distinctive skill I have developed for realism and portraiture has garnered many showings in a variety of exhibitions during my young life.  As a child, I was an avid and creative individual. Throughout the years, this remained true. I attended college at Concord University, which is where I started using acrylics on canvas to build up a large collection of drawings and paintings. People have the innate ability to show personality through facial expressions and body language. An expression written on a person’s face can display a strong mood or a feeling. As an artist, I like to create these expressions to capture personality and illustrate a moment in time.
I have always been connected to realism and portraiture. My tools for creation are acrylic paints and graphite pencils. I am very thorough while planning my compositions. For most of my work, the sizing of my paintings and my subjects are all purposely consistent. For my artwork, I would like to instill a sense of environment using detail, color, and space, while also recreating the expression, the mood, and the feel of the subject.
