I take the DART to Blackrock. Its 9:30AM. I like getting in 2 hours of chess at the Blackrock Starbucks. The music is pleasant; the view of the ocean through the large window pleasing. I like the presence of people around me when I concentrate on the game. The smell of espresso houses. I manage a decent effort on the board. Walking past me mostly couples - young mothers with their babies. Hardly single people, but me. My concentration among other facilities required to master this board game has taken a nosedive, blaming the before mentioned addictions. So, I belief, at this point, it is mainly an effort to recuperate my ability to think ahead, to plan. I pack in 2 hours then leave for the bottle store.
