Inspired by the Norse legend of yggdrasil the world tree, each line drawn indicating the beginning and end of each life in the nine realms. Also expressing how some lives intertwine with each other, and lead off to seperate paths infinitely. The skull on the upper left corner is inspired by the work of paul cezzanne, expressing death, as it's inky black tears fall from the eye socket representing death fueling the world tree in an everlasting cycle of life and death, allowing life to thrive in the surrounding darkness. Each coloured circle represents a world in the universe, the tree both protects these worlds and engulfs them when life and death becomes imbalanced, creating a very philosophical and relevant meaning behind an ancient legend.
