About The Artwork
Inspired by Kurt Cobain, this piece is a tribute to the life and work of the revolutionary grunge artist, his music has touched me during some of my most stressful and difficult times in my life and is devastating that he died so young. This piece is especially inspired by Kurt's last show using references from this to show the clear sadness in his eyes, using lyrics from his last recorded song to express his pain. There are also references to his inclusion in the 27 club throughout the patterns on his face and aura surrounding him.
