ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love the written languages, no matter known or unknown to me, and I love to create the images from them. Because, the power and the beauty of the written languages last much longer than we would think. Trained at a law school in China, I have been following my passion in fine art since arrived in US more than 30 years ago. It was the magic of the threads that drew me into the weaving, and into the symbols of different cultures. Weaving was a means for me to create, to think and to meditate. Hand woven with wool and linen, used tapestry weave, warp faced weave, and hand dyed warp.
