ABOUT THE ARTWORK

UK The work is inspired by a fantasy that was born to me by aiming for the night sky, I imagined what life could be like up there. In fact, Mira is a pulsating variable star that gave its name to the class of Mira variables. It is found in the constellation of the Whale and was the first variable star to be discovered and is the brightest of the periodic variables that disappear from view with the naked eye during part of their cycle. Its distance was estimated to be 220 light years. The works presented for the first time in Rome in 2015 during a Vernissage by Walter Rolando Attanasio was highly appreciated by the public and critics. The Plexiglass panels were mounted on iron, painted aluminum and plastic disks, with a diameter of 60 cm.
