About The Artwork
I was writing a preteen fantasy book, and I drew this as an illustration to go with the book. The book still hasn't been published yet. I hope the viewer will feel the sense of dreaming, of sleeping beauty, of timelessness, of a different world. I enjoy drawing more than I enjoy painting, and I enjoy digital painting over my own hand-drawn illustrations over painting, as well. I drew this in graphite pencil, went over it in ink, scanned it into my computer, and added color via image manipulation software, mostly using airbrush tools.
