This the first in the Cover Story series which evolved around the idea of a book cover but which has taken on a life of its own. These often modern vibrant pieces combine text and graphics with a strong design element that sits well with contemporary interiors. The original works explored book cover design for a collection of twenty-two poems which were part of a self-publishing project that is still being finalised. There are now over three hundred designs in the series with a wide range of styles and colours to choose from. The text – 22 poems shey fenner – provides the starting point for all the prints although it isn't always apparent in the finished work as colour and other considerations take over during the creative process.
