The painting tries to represent calm and self-control during danger. Confidence and strength, reflected through the rock and a naked climber facing it and its dangers. The work is produced directly on wood. The rock is represented through pigmented natural sand, so the painting has a contradiction of textures: the rough and rigid of the sand against the softness of the wood.
