The mind works in mysterious ways. I have always felt my environment strongly affects my art. I had read the Biography of Edward Gorey and loved the work of Mondrian, and somehow these collided in a painting. Elements of the COVID virus pandemic are here too. The Victorian line style drawings around the border, themes of cemeteries meet bold primary colors and black outlined geometrics. Traditional meets modern in a blending of new creation.
