ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The beauty of classical music is both auditory and visual to me as an artist. This is one of a series of images that are my interpretation of what inspired famous composers. Hildegard of Bingen was a German Benedictine abess and polymath who was a writer, composer, philosopher, mystic, visionary, and medical practioner during the 12th century. She is by far the best known composer of sacred monophony music. Her music certainly floats on air.
