I was born effectively blind in one eye, with the doctors unable to pinpoint a cause for it. Over the years my other eye has got bad too, so now I need powerful aids to see. Because of this, images and colours have a very powerful impact on me, frequently remaining in my mind`s eye permanently - like a library. I love seeing how different people see the world through their art - it is a very intimate way of seeing someone else`s unique experience of it. I need to create my own images. I do this mostly using oil or digitally. The subject that fascinates me most is people. There is a something interesting in everyone and everything and I want to capture it.
