One of the few positive things that came out of the lengthy pandemic and countless lock-downs is that in order to keep sane, grounded and focused, I taught myself marbling and acrylic pouring painting. Both techniques allowed me to tap into an apparently endless source of creative impetus:I went into a creative rampage, painting vibrant, colourful and abstract artwork on canvas. Marbling and acrylic pouring are effective meditation techniques, an art therapy that allows me to express my creativity and bring into the world mesmerizing and quirky art often born out of "happy incidents" because it is impossible to fully control the fluid medium. I hope the viewers will see hidden shapes and patterns that will trigger new interpretations of the painting, feel a sense of peace, and more importantly be inspired to spend some time being creative.
