About The Artwork

MARILYN IN PLAYBOY | MIX MEDIA Vector design + Photography | POP ART WORLD STUDIO 2024 In the middle of the last century in 1952, a creative visionary imagined a magazine never seen before. It was about Hugh Hefner and his disruptive idea: Playboy Magazine, the first publication to include female nudes Hefner wanted to break with everything and wanted to launch his project with the nude of the most famous woman of the moment: Marilyn Monroe. He contacted the photographer who had done Marilyn's (Norma Jean) first nude session when she was not yet famous and asked him the price of those original photos, so the photographer asked him for $500. Hefner told him: "I'm going for them and I'll pay cash!"
