About The Artwork
This Crystal incapsulates the many worlds within human realms. Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames “Power of Ten” video from the 70s I have spanned the field of interest from zoomed out shanty towns, agricultural patterns and closer vegetation inspection to even closer focus on worms and microbiomes. Originally painted on a gesso board with acrylic, ink and resin. Completed by digitally encapsulating a section of the painting within a trillion stone cut that is shallow in depth and shows the dust for what it really is. Printed giclee on German etching paper hand finished touches and hand made frame.

An astute eye for detail amongst mankind, nature and a mischievous talent for finding beauty in the most uncommon of places. After graduating from Chelsea college of art and design in 2010 clare established herself as a scenic painter and frequently works within the bbc doing their reprographics. Combined with assisting artists and specialists decorating, Clare has financed and added to her font of artistic skills that 10 years on has allowed her the time to rekindle a personal artistic storyline.
