About The Artwork
"Nora" is a hand - painted digital oil painting referenced from a photograph. This is just one of a series of paintings I am creating in collaboration with Swiss photographer Stephan Grosjean. I was immediately taken in by the extraordinary beauty of his nudes. His choice of location backgrounds and exquisite lighting setups inspired me to want to create my paintings using his photos as references. My Technique I create my paintings in the digital medium - meaning I use a tablet and stylus art pen and a high - end software program to hand - paint the artwork which I then output as a museum grade giclee' onto 100% cotton fiber archival fine art paper.
