This piece is inspired by a memory of a place, again transformed while creating the piece. It has to do with a strange dream-like world, which I remember but not exactly as it has been painted. It has to do with remembrance . Nostalgy of my days back home and the present moment meet together and drives me to occupy the threshold between familiarity and foreigness

I was born in Caracas- Venezuela in 1971. I moved to Spain in 1999, and developed my painting with a very personal style . I began experimenting with many techniques, and used acrilic and serigraphy on canvas , mixing many types of paint and media. It is now that I have focus in experimenting with acrilic and inks and how it behaves on the canvas , by pouring and mixing it to get diferent textures and efects. .
