Tragedian - The theft in the museum - Limited Edition of 5 Print

Tragedian is a work made up of three images created with the aid of computer graphics. In particular, 3D modeling programs and subsequently rendering and photo-retouching software. The use of these programs allowed me to "play" with the characters that I usually insert in my physical works such as oil paintings and sculptures. In this theme I wanted to take as reference the much discussed work by Maurizio Cattelan ("Comedian") which concerns a banana exhibited in a museum. We all know how much this gesture caused a sensation and above all how high the selling price of this simple banana was. The story I invented, with a surreal taste of course, is that three mannequins sneak into a museum at night to steal the famous banana. In this first image is represented the scene of the theft of the banana exhibited at the museum by the three dummies. Only two of them perform the actual misdeed, not caring that alongside the banana there are two of the most important masterpieces of contemporary art ever. The mannequin in the foreground, probably the one who invented the shot, however, feels dissatisfied with what is happening, the pose recalls that of Rodin's thinker. His companions, however, in the meantime try to remove the banana, which is worth so much money, from that scotch stuck to the wall.
