About The Artwork
This abstract work is inspired by the spirit and aesthetics of Fin de Copenhague by Danish artist Asger Jorn and French theorist Guy Debord. It is part of an exploring the city (London) series connected to urban and psychological themes of boundaries, built forms (and ruins), memories and change. The piece can also be viewed as an exercise in composition with colour textures and shapes, creating a unique urban moodscape.

My work is informed by emotional responses to colour and the figurative and abstract forms found in natural and urban settings. I have produced creative works for high profile museums and galleries including the V&A and the RA, London. Recent MA study in Art and Design has taken my practice in a typographic/pop-cultural direction. I will continue to develop the work through visual experimentation to produce art that communicates the artistic intention to the viewer in a visually compelling manner.
