ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Rodrigo de Castro is a Uruguayan painter born in Montevideo, who currently resides in Punta del Este. He was trained at Casablanca Art School under the tutelage of Ignacio Iturria. Part of his training is carried out between the United States, where he resides for eight years, and Cadaques, Spain, where he performs several residencies with his Master Iturria. The new paintings that he presents at Bodega Garzon clearly show an evolution towards total abstraction.
