The original title of this painting is "生死相依". I translated this complex proverb with "Always Together". It describes the fact that life and death are closely connected and influence each other. No one can guarantee their existence forever and life will eventually end with death. This expression is often used to emphasize the transience of life and the importance of each moment and to remind us to appreciate our lives while we have them. It also reminds us that our relationships with others and with nature are of crucial importance, and that we should strive to build positive relationships and protect the world around us.

"Yan Jun White's description of art and observation of life is poetic and introspective. She sees art as a means of communication and a way to express her feelings and emotions to the world. Her reflections on light, shadows, and glass evoke the idea that our perceptions and experiences of the world are unique to each individual, shaped by our own "glass eyes." She also touches on the idea of life being a play, and the ups and downs that come with it. Her artistic expression allows her to find meaning and purpose in life and connect with others who share similar experiences and emotions."
