Anticipation Print

Born in South Africa (1964) and moved to Israel in 1978. First significant steps in art in early 2000, looking for a way to express internal struggles through self recognition and fulfillment of an early potential,now being realized. Long hours of browsing art books, self explanatory lessons and raw canvas,were the beginning of his relationship with never ending possibilities to transfer feelings,feel the freedom,relief and power that accompany him during the process of creation. Over the years,Gidon participated in numerous workshops under the guidance of leading Israeli artists, developing specialized techniques based on painting in thickly layered coverage of the canvas,bestowing a rich color to the composition.
