Kateryna Oliinyk is a Ukrainian artist who combines impressionism and abstraction in her work. Her inspiration is nature. Kateryna loves solitude and meditation, painting from this state and thus finding harmony with herself and the world around her. She dreams of making everyone fall in love with painting and having at least one small painting created by a human hand in every home. Kateryna loves bold, impulsive, dense strokes of paint and enjoys their texture, experiencing tactile sensations of touching fingers and oil paints. She also paints a lot with her fingers without using a brush, which immerses her in a special state of creativity and completely shields her from the outside world during the work. Kateryna believes that creativity is her personal psychotherapy, which saves her every day and protects her from stress and negativity in the current conditions of living in a front-line southern Ukrainian city. She has spent many years learning to be free and brave, to make quick and firm decisions, and her paintings are the result of working on herself. Kateryna wants her works not only to decorate people's homes but also to help them find harmony with themselves and the world around them. Her works are not just paintings; they are works of art that convey emotions and feelings.
