About The Artwork
Aquarellart n° 4 is the fourth in a series of abstract paintings inspired by the passage of time. LIFE! The dark blue of the river that flows across the land with plants and flowers in a rebirth of nature, much as the ancient Egyptians celebrated the Nile. Airborn seeds form patterns against flat colour, patterns on stems reflect an organised chaos. By reducing natural shapes and familiar images to abstracted forms and balanced colours, a homogeneous and harmonious composition has been achieved. In doing so, specific moments throughout the day, and life itself, have been visually captured.
