About The Artwork
In general, I love to explore horses in my art. My black mare was named after a native word in my home state of Pennsylvania that means 'a stream between two mountains' - Pocono. As I live dually in MT and PA and I go back and forth between the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachians, I often feel like that stream. Pocono is high spirited, loves to run, and can be quite 'bossy'. She has Heart, Spirit, and Attitude!
