Acrylic and ballpoint pen on canvas. 9x12in. Wired and ready to hang. Listening to a documentary and without seeing the person behind the voice, I painted his character the way I envisioned him in my mind. I felt aloofness and distance from him, a sort of carelessness, and tried to convey this feeling though use of color and line. How do you interpret the look in his eyes? How does he make you feel? What is on his mind?
