About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by my struggles to be good at spelling when I was in elementary school. Years later I learned that the the human brain can piece together misspelled words as long as the first and last letter are the same and the words can still be read accurately. The poem is an original piece that I wrote. Created using acrylic paint on a 16 by 20 inch stretched canvas and is varnished. The sides are painted so this work is ready to hang and does not need to be framed.
