About The Artwork
It was evening in Florence, Italy and a couple of friends joined me for a stroll through the now cooler streets. We found ice cream during our wanderings, and a small square with people. Some sitting on ancient steps, small groups chatting together. Then through our midst walked a huge group of balloons, swaying with the breeze and with the cadence of the feet showing below them. The visible and invisible play together for their own amusement. This is painting on Yupo (plastic), adhered to cradled wood and sealed with encaustic.
