About The Artwork

Inspired by Robert Capa's Iconic Photo of Pablo Picasso ad Francoise Gilot on the beach at the Cote d'Azur in 1948 I am recreating this beach scene with Barbie and Ken in the style of NOW - 2022. Part of my ART TO MAKE YOU SMILE series - Barbie and Ken are wearing Baleciaga, Kenzo Nigo, Lanvin, Gucci, a Veuve clicquot Champagne Sunbrella and are accompanied by a purple Jeff Koons balloon dog. Handpainted original and one-of-a-kind painting in acrylics on stretched canvas. Sides are painted - ready to hang. Would look best framed up in a simple white box frame. Artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and a hand written thank you note by the artist. ENJOY

"Art has been my passion all my life - abstract art with a twist is how I like to express myself. Painting for me is meditation through repetition. Form is everything - until you step back and see my paintings from further away..." Art Idols are Yayoi Kusama, Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter, Damien Hirst, Roy Liechtenstein and Wayne Thiebaud. Quoting Paul Klee: "A line is a dot that went for a walk"... Works in public and private collections , among others in USA, South Africa, Singapore, Canada, Australia, India, United Kingdom, France and more
