About The Artwork
This work is one of several in a series called Beauty in Chaos. The works in this series are made with egg tempera and Sumi-e ink on either watercolor paper or unprimed canvas. This piece is on 26" x 27" canvas. I use egg tempera and Sumi-e ink because the mediums require preparation before I can use them. In turn, I prepare my mind for the painting. The works were born out of freedom from expectation.
