About The Artwork

The journey to this painting took me several years. I used to live in this street where there is an old abandoned church in front of which grow trees with intertwined crowns. Road leading into the distance with houses and forest as background. At that time, it seemed to me that it would be a nice topic for a painting with an interesting composition. But something didn't sit there and something was missing. As I hurried back home before the storm began, I saw this beautiful view. Overwhelmed by surprise, I froze and couldn't move and couldn't breathe.  I saw the divine power of nature associated with history of the town and I am there. When I came home, I immediately grabbed the brushes and under great impression, began to paint this painting.
