Belarusian." is a painting about some Belarusian origins. It is needed to explain that Belarus is a country which is situated in Europe between Poland and Russia. There are nearly 9.5 mln people in the country. Most people speak Russian language every day. And there are only 3.5% of population speaks belarussian every day. Language is one of the important things of any nationality. And here on the painting there are belarussian alphabet and letters. Artist Victoria Valuk invites a viewer to look at the painting and think about Belarus and Belarussian things. There can be seen between the golden lines: - the flax flower, which is one of the symbols of Belarus (including the one depicted on the coat of arms), which has been used in Belarus for a long time in weaving, is mentioned in the works of Belarusian poets, flax itself as a flower is a symbol of purity, fidelity and light; - the image and color of the background can remind you of patches, the peasant past; - the letters of the Belarusian alphabet scattered between the lines in the picture remind that the Belarusians have their own language, which should not be forgotten. Artist’s resume: Victoria Valuk is an artist from Europe. She lives and works in Minsk city, Belarus. She graduated from the Moscow Institute. For several years she has been engaged in painting, continues to study art, experiments and works with oil mainly. Personal exhibitions of Victoria Valuk were held in different countries. She participated in many international exhibitions as well.
