About The Artwork
Herons and other water birds frequently appear at my waterfront home. I love watching them fish. Sometimes at night I can hear them squawking and this inspired me to create this full size watercolor of a Great Blue Heron standing in the moonlight. The technique used includes watercolor, charcoal, pastels and watercolor pencil on paper.
