ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This work was painted on a gold underpainting that peaks through the colourful composition and reflects back at you. This unique element ignites the scene and allows the viewer to imagine being there, feeling the wind pick up. Autumn colours and a beautiful day in the Lanark Highlands. Farmland and quaint fences. This series was inspired by a residency spent nearby in Calabogie.
