Inspired by the peoples uprising in Sri Lanka giving a sense of hope amidst the chaos, a chance at redeeming the lost humanity and the freedom and the clarity. Done in a rushed palette work with no sense of direction to invoke the sense of chaos with gaps and spots to invoke uncertainty. This was done in a time where people started to think of others rather than themselves in a society full of corruption and self interest. Maybe the piece will age well or it will be another lost dream. Time will tell...

Born in 1999, Pamuditha Munasinghe is an artist hailing from the beautiful island country of Sri Lanka. Ever since he was a child, art was the outlet and means of him staying calm and collected in a chaotic world. He only tried graphite drawings at first and never tried painting. Fast forward to 2020 and he got the confidence to start his first painting and ever since then, painting has become his utmost pleasure. So he is a self taught artist trying new techniques, styles trying to express the world through his eyes. He tries paintings that are a mix of expressionism with a twist of abstract. Regardless of the style his art makes him feel at peace and he hopes that it can do the same for the rest of the people as well.
