“This series, titled "Impression of Flowers," emerged from an experimental endeavor: How can European Impressionism be depicted through Chinese Ink Wash Painting? I aim to establish a connection between these two art forms and build a bridge between them.” In this process, I've been looking for a suitable material to express more complex colors & emotions. Finally I found it in a handicraft workshop in Anhui Province, China. This is a kind of Chinese tranditional handmade paper with rough texture, wood color... I keep drawing and drawing... I have to admit that I may have deviated from the original goal, but also formed the current artistic style.
