I like to walk around in the parks of Berkeley and Oakland, California. It's really amazing how many birds there are at Aquatic Park. I love to paint the large birds like this Blue Heron in the trees. I have seen this bird on a few occasions and it has a nest up there. The bird appears white because it was molting at the time.
