ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the first painting of the "Bodyvism" series obviously inspired by a female body and its perception in the modern world. When I was going home at night with this painting in my hand, some random drunk guy asked me if it was my painting, I said: "Yes, do you like it?" and he answered: "Yes. But... it is embarrassing". The female body and body, in general, is still considered shameful and embarrassing even when it is depicted in such an abstract way. I want this painting to provoke reflections on our perception of the body and if it is fair.
